My boyfriend and I have been customers for a couple years now. Over the last few months we decided not to use the daycare and Boarding services anymore. The environment seems very tense, mismanaged, and literally smells bad. If reviews were based on grooming, it would be 5 stars, because we absolutely love Parker. We will continue to see Parker for grooming services but the atmosphere of the daycare seems to have gotten worse as of late. The employees seem overburdened, our dog is unhappy after daycare, and our most recent visit we overheard employees yelling at dogs. The place smells horrible. Need to hold my breath as soon as you open the door to the staircase. I'm not sure how other people can leave their dogs there except maybe for the convenient location. The reason for the low rating mostly is because 1) they didn't refund my deposit though it was adjusted 7 days before the boarding date. 2) they left it as a credit which apparently expires with no notice. 3) the report cards are lacking much detail. And it's not updated daily. 4) lack of pictures and updates during the stay. No cameras. 5) my dog was picked up by a friend who showed me he had dried poop on his butt. Great flexibility if you want to board or just need to drop off your pup for a few hours. Even though it’s all indoors there’s lots of room to roam and my pup is always excited to get there.
