A bad experience at Seattle Swedish. Not more. I did change to Overlake hospital and huge difference. Love my surgeon, anesthesiologist, nurses etc

I have had the opportunity to be a patient of several of the providers within this clinic. I am a "semi" complicated patient with ongoing health issues that need the specialty care that is provided here. I have faith that when something happens unexpectedly that I am always in the best hands and receiving the best possible care. Quick responses from coordinators, nursing staff and providers is just one of the reasons I keep my care with Swedish GI! Come on, what are you waiting for? Colonoscopy? Endoscopy? Just do it!

While I received fantastic care when in the office seeing my physician, the sense of urgency on follow-ups at this office is enough to make me seek care outside of the Swedish network. I had a ultra sound follow-up to a CT scan finding that determined whether or not I need surgery. Scheduling that ultra sound was a nightmare; the imaging office never answered 2+ calls from me. Only after my physician's nurse called on my behalf was I able to get in for imaging. My physical told me that, once I received my ultra sound, I was told I was receive a call from my physician or her nurse the day of my test.
