Swedish Endoscopy Center - First Hill

Took the best care of me with my visit today made sure to always check on me and ask if I was doing okay... friendly staff and great people.. would definitely recommend this hospital for care :)

I had an emergency while out of town and was genuinely impressed by the efficiency of the ER. I'm not sure if this is typical in Washington State, but areas like this tend to have more funding for healthcare, which likely contributes to the speed and quality of services. When I arrived, I was seen immediately and underwent four scans/x-rays within just a few hours. It did take an additional two hours to receive my results, so my total time in the ER was about five hours. This is the second time I've had surgery performed on me at Swedish Surgical Center on Broadway in Seattle. On both occasions I was treated very well by the staff. I had to arrive at 6:30 am. Kim the admitting RN made me feel comfortable from the beginning. The post op recovery room RN Rosie did the same, providing great care. My room RNs Andy, Sean, John and Leonola, were all very nice and engaged with ensuring all my needs were met. All felt more like friends than service providers.i live about 3 hrs from Seattle but The Swedish surgical center on Broadway was well worth both the drive and an overnight stay at a nearby hotel the night before surgery.
