I've been going to 1:1 training session with Ollie for several months, and I've found this gym to be very approachable, cozy, and welcoming. This is one rare space where I don't feel uncomfortable at all being openly trans - there are many trans and queer gym members and staff.
Highly recommended! The gym space feels inclusive and welcoming for all fitness levels and is very focused on relationships and community. Convenient location, completely reasonable sliding scaled pricing. I've been working 1:1 with Allison for about 9 months. She's so upbeat, warm, and knowledgable. The workouts she designs strike the balance between achievable and the right amount of challenging, and vary from week to week. She's made a few referrals to other providers that have been exceptionally helpful. Over all working with her has been an awesome positive addition to my physical fitness and life in general!
I used classpass to try out a few classes and ended up doing a few 1:1 coaching sessions with Liz to get back to kettlebell sport lifting. Liz is amazing, very attentive, patient and observant. She's a really good coach, and I also took a few group classes. The gym is very personal, they seem to have really good talent, there's something for everyone. Barbells, squat racks, kettlebells, turf. Unfortunately the schedule and class offerings didn't quite work out for me. IThere's a lot of good energy and I hope this community grows, and they could expand more classes. If you're in the area and in the market to get fit, I highly recommend
