I came to Erika for a haircut after not having one for almost two years. My hair felt so unmanageable and lifeless, and she breathed new life into it!! She was very mindful of keeping my hair still long, and was very considerate of this for me as an Indigenous woman—long hair is important in my culture. My hair feels SO much better and I can finally wear my hair down, which I couldn’t before because it was immediately tangle. She gave me so much good advice that was tailored specifically to my hair, a lot of which I’ve never heard before, and my hair has continued to thrive thanks to the advice she gave me! Rosalind not only gave me a great haircut but also walked me through how past haircuts resulted in styles that I didn’t love and for what to say instead for a cut that works for my hair and head shape!
