Thanks to everyone who left your experience posted. I’m so sorry to hear about your experience but really grateful you posted your experience so that each person reading has enough information to make the right decision for themselves. It really helped me a lot with my decision, to avoid this type of treatment that truly no one deserves. Not only that but being aware of becoming scammed out of my money.
Finding care for my natural hair in Seattle had been a challenge for a few years. Enter a news story about Jackie and Six17 Salon, several weeks of waiting to get an appointment, and - months later - a very happy customer! My first appointment I was a little overwhelmed. Jackie shared a lot of tips with me, answered a stream of questions I had, and sent me on my way. I got a lot of compliments on my medium size flat twists and got energized to go back again. Several visits later, I'm thrilled with the service Jackie provides. I've learned about different styles now (who knew!), gotten tips for how I can take care of and style my hair in between appointments, and gotten used to the quarterly trims that do involve taking a lot of my hair off. My hair has grown, looks healthy, and is easier to manage. I don't follow 100% of what Jackie says (after all, I'm on a budget!) and I've learned a lot about what works for me. I'm really happy and would suggest going for an extend time to really see results.

On April 21, I visited Six17 Salon for a regular trim + wash and go. After I left and could better see the results, I was very disappointed. Compare what I’ve uploaded to Google results for short wash and gos on men.
Everyone’s hair is different, but Jackie achieved a great wash and go for me two months earlier. Also, I’ve considered her a great resource but I’ve pursued my own natural hair...read full review
