My doctor recommended I go to Seattle ultrasound for an early ultrasound in the very beginning of my pregnancy because of complications I was having. Understandably this was incredibly stressful and scary. As many others noted, I had a very difficult time getting this emergent appointment scheduled due to a lack of common sense and understand from the receptionist. Once I was able to have the appointment, the tech performed a vaginal ultrasound that was incredibly painful (I’ve since had many other vaginal ultrasounds and none felt this same way). I understand the person who does the ultrasound does this all day so has to pass the time somehow. But not every patient feels like talking. Please respect this. Please do not ask invasive questions about a patient's private life that are in no way related to the ultrasound, such as "do you have children?" Would you ask that of a man, or are intrusive personal questions only for women? She means no harm, but what if my child died or I recently had a miscarriage or am unable to conceive or carry a child to term? And then, to make it worse, making a comment about how much time you have in your life. This was offensive and inappropriate. Kindly do not make assumptions about people or our lives. Be professional and keep it light. Respect a patient's privacy and if they do feel like chatting -- and a reminder that not everybody does -- stick to impersonal, non-triggering topics, like the weather.

extremely rude and unprofessional. Ultrasound tech was very rude and condescending. she did not want to be there and it clearly showed. they lied on my ultrasound report and said i denied something when I clearly didn't. Horrible horrible horrible. only good thing was the radiologist doctor. never go here if i could give it 0 stars i would.
