My name is Melanie Roberts.... My grandmother, Ruth Dalton, was killed in a carjacking in Seattle on 8/20. I was trying to figure out how to do this post..... how to even begin to express my gratitude. I want to give a HUGE shout out to John Ayala with Rain City Fence (206-866-6234) John is a hero in my book. When grandma was hurt, John ran into the street to help a stranger. He held my grandmother as she went to meet the Lord. He land hands on her and did CPR until medics arrived, even though he was certain she was gone. HEAR ME...... HE RAN TO SAVE A STRANGER! HE ATTEMPTED LIFE-SAVING MEASURES ON HER! And he went back to work then next day!!!! I was so blessed to meet John in person, and have communicated a few times with him by phone. He plans on attending the walk on 9/4 to remember the woman he tried to save. When I asked if I could promote him somehow, he asked me to promote the company he works for..... he said they've done so good by him that he wants them to have the glory. Well John, I want to promote you both! RAIN CITY FENCE, you employ a real life hero; an absolute Superstar in my book! The fence he built is beautiful, and so is the man that built it!
