It's been over a year and a half since I've had my haircut. I was hesitant to find a new one as my former stylist left Seattle to go back to Idaho during the pandemic. I found Verdi through an Instagram account I follow. The reviews I checked out were raving about the location and results.I came in this week not knowing what to expect, but ready to get my crazy hair fixed. Verdi was super chill and you could also tell by the clientele as well. She asked me what my routine was for my hair and asked what style I wanted. Elsie, who is apparently a new barber there, was my barber. I went in after a barber elsewhere kinda messed me up. Showed her a photo and gave her a rough idea of what I wanted with some freedom and she killed it. Had a face shave too which I had never gotten before and felt totally refreshed after. Wish I lived closer to come back sooner, but would recommend both Pioneer and Elsie.

Verdi and co. do great cuts and styles. I’m reminded why I come back, every time they hot shave my neck, and then hot towel my face (eucalyptus or lavender), while shampooing post haircut (free light head massage). It’s the best.
