I know that the larger box stores do not have the greatest rap but Abigail and the other groomers are amazing. Charlie had her winter coat, her puppy coat and every other coat just coming off. I could not keep up with all the coats, but when my Charlie girl came out I was amazed. So just give petco a chance and tell them Charlie & Nicole said hi
The Interbay Petco is the Cat's MEOW! The Interbay Petco is the Cat's MEOW! I visited the Interbay Petco this past Saturday. Only David - the manager and Sam at the frontend were working in the store. WOW! I was blown away by the customer service they provided. They never complained or needed to explain the staffing. Sam served a never-ending line of customers with a fab perspective. David carried out the cat tree and placed it in my car. I stopped by today to pick up a few items for my big boy orange tabby - Bodie. Sam, once again, gave stellar customer centered service. I had been to a different Petco last Friday. Short staffed and different attitude. It shows the difference in team members and their attitudes can impact a store's culture and customer care. Keep up the customer centered service, and I'll keep coming back!
I come to this petco often, to get cat food, I got some snails once, kitty litter, night crawlers, etc. Every single time, I have a great experience. I know y'all are a chain - but this specific petco is fantastic. It's not the best petco items-wise but people-wise. What y'all lack in merchandise, you make up for with your staff. Literally everyone I know that goes to that petco, loves that specific petco. Now I know what you're thinking, this is so dramatic. I know that. But I really need the staff to know that they're doing a great job and that people are noticing how kind they are. I also had an experience tonight at petco that really warmed my heart and I'd like to share. For context, I recently got a breast reduction and it's been a hard recovery. A week ago, I was given the go-ahead to start moving around and carry some stuff, but I can't overdo it or else I get hurt. However, I have needed to resume usual life activities - and it's been a challenge. Navigating Seattle is rough too and not to mention the pretty non-friendly people, which makes asking for help really hard (I'm a transplant of 1.5 years).Tonight at about 7:45, I needed to pick up kitty litter, and kitty litter is so heavy. I was really anxious about getting it beforehand, because of my stitches. I found the exact kitty litter I wanted, and tried my hardest to bring it to the cash register. The super nice cashier noticed I was struggling when I got there and instantly asked if I needed help and scanned it from the floor. I thanked them and apologized and told them I just had a breast reduction so lifting stuff is kind of hard right now (TMI but I have just been being honest). One cashier gathered 2 people around her and they all offered to carry it to my car. I was about to say no because that is just so sweet but realized I can't carry it. One of the people there carried it to my car and he was so sweet. I'm usually wary having men walk me to my car when it's dark but he was so non threatening and just wanted to help. When I got into my car, I cried for like 30 seconds because that was so nice. And they didn't have to do that. They just really made my day, my recovery has been a lot. And that act of kindness really meant a lot to me. Anyways, this is super long and annoying but I just wanted to tell you. All these employees need a raise!
