About May Salon
May Salon is a convenient local nail salon that offers good service and a cozy decor. The French manicure and pedicure look great initially, but the gel manicure may chip quickly. The prices are considered pretty pricey, with $300 for three mani-pedis. However, the salon is praised for its excellent customer service, great hand and foot massages, and being part of the community. Customers are generally thrilled with the reasonable pricing, high-quality service, and kind staff, making it a highly recommended nail salon in the Capitol Hill, Eastlake, and Central District areas of Seattle. Recent visitors have praised the friendly staff, especially Lei and Kelly, for nails, waxing, and amazing massages. Many are happy with their manicures, including magnetic nails, and appreciate the clean, cute environment. Some customers who were disappointed in the past found the salon has improved significantly, offering great pedicures at affordable prices like $35, and hope it remains a local favorite.
I recently visited to get a manicure to hide a nail that I jammed in a car door and I'm glad I went here for it! Le did my manicure and she was incredibly kind and considerate. The salon itself was clean and very cute. I'm in love with my nails and enjoyed the neck/shoulder massage included too. This will definitely become my go-to place!
I feel obligated to write a review here as someone who constantly read reviews. First I want to recognize that I was dissapointed with may salon in 2023 based on the service. I avoided it the last several months but I needed a last minute pedicure so I decided to go back and give it another try and I was IMPRESSED!! Great pedicure, great polish and cheaper ($35 for a pedicure) than I thought it would be!!! Please please go here because I was the only one there and I really hope it stays in business!
Good enough service and decor. The French manicure/pedicure looked great at the start. My gel manicure chipped in four days, which I guess is really quick (a friend says hers at a salon in another city lasted five weeks!) I haven't had nails done in many years, but I thought it was pretty pricey: $300 for three mani - pedis.
