Where do I begin... Mastered By Miyoko had a full schedule but I still decided on putting my name on the wait list (I typically don't do that). I put down that I was available at anytime between the days of June 12th to the 18th since I was leaving on the 20th for vacation. She texted me that same week and scheduled an appointment for June 10th. I get there and she is super friendly, talkative and acknowledging my opinions and cries for help lol regarding my hair. Found my new hairstylist! Miyoko was awesome and so knowledgeable about tending to curly hair. As a guy with long, curly hair, it hasn't been easy getting good cuts and figuring out my routine. Not only did Miyoko give me a great cut, but she talked me through a recommended routine which has helped a ton. Highly recommend!

I go to Miyoko for my curls as she is great with all hair but especially curly and textured hair. She is meticulous and detailed and explains what she is doing and why. I started going to her for hair cuts and have recently done color as well. We talked through what I wanted and what the maintenance would look like. Being her detailed self she mixed up 3 different colors for my "all over color" that went over my natural grow out and some previously colored ends, and it has grown out beautifully. She can also recommend great products. Worth the investment to get what you want from someone who has many years of experience!
