I came in with 3 separate special requests and Magnolia Cleaners was experienced, thoughtful, and patient enough to help me with all 3 issues. #1: I brought a vintage family item in...my mother's prom dress that I was planning to wear for an official event in Washington D.C. and the owner and/or manager was able to help me trouble shoot the best way to clean it including spot checking the fabric for me...problem solved! #2: I brought in a brand new tie that had wine and oil spilled on it the first time it was worn and they were able to get the stains out. Great value and quick service (even without necessarily requesting faster turnaround)! Plus the owner is always friendly and cheerful. Would definitely recommend for dry cleaning and alterations.
My wife and I tried out several cleaners in the area before finally deciding to stick with this one. The main reason for our choice was their excellent alteration service. They were able to fix small holes in our sweaters so skillfully that you couldn't even tell they had been there. When it came to mending torn jeans, they managed to make them even sturdier than before while still keeping the original design intact. We were also thrilled with their dry cleaning service. The clothes came back without any unpleasant chemical odors, which was a big plus for us. All in all, we couldn't be happier with the quality of service provided by this cleaner.
