Best hotel for a stay in seattle, very close to the attractions my husband & I wanted to see. Service was great, room was very elegant & I did not mind sleeping with the King (The Elvis presley pillow the suite had lol) 😝 This hotel is on the list when we come back for a visit!
Stayed here recently just before/at the beginning of the 2026 WorldCup. While the staff is incredibly friendly, helpful and kind, the room had a bunch of small issues that really added up.
The biggest daily annoyance was having only one towel hook in the bathroom. Traveling as a couple, that meant stacking both towels on the same hook so neither one ever actually dried. Seems like such a minor thing until you live with it for about a week. Beyond that, the bathroom felt like nobody had done a final check before letting guests in. We booked two rooms June 12-14 using AMEX & Chase. Both credit cards offered extra benefits, including breakfast and $100 credits. Always best to start with all the good: The front desk and bell staff are wonderful, friendly and helpful. The breakfast at The Shaker & Spear restaurant is top notch. The maitre d, Souvik is incredibly professional, efficient and friendly. We thoroughly enjoyed both breakfast and lunch there during our stay. The hotel lobby nightly cocktail hour was a fun treat and I appreciated that they offered nonalcoholic options. We used our credits at the PennyRoyal bar.
