Johnston Architects does a great job for projects large and small; they have designed an office building and designed single family homes for me. Their designs are striking architecturally for the unique forms they create to meet the needs of the client.
We had an incredible experience with Johnston Architects from start to finish. We felt like we had architects who really listened to our hopes for our home, and that we were able to embark on a collaborative process with them that put our needs at the center. They were very easy to work with despite us living a different location than Seattle (outside of San Francisco). We had the pleasure of building a cabin in the Methow Valley with Johnston Architects (JA). We had a challenging piece of property with respect to the way it sloped and desired sight lines. We were also sensitive to wanting to preserve many of the native shrubs, flowers and trees that made the property special.
