Scott of Hum Hair is an incredibly talented, kind, and welcoming hairstylist. I also have some background in cosmetology, so I really appreciate the artistry, design, consultation, and good vibes all around. I’ve been going to Hum Hair for a number of years now. I have curly, typically long hair. Scott is very knowledgeable about all hair types. He has taught me so much about my curls, and how to care for them. I have a whole new relationship with my hair because of what I have learned from Scott, along with his expert cutting skills.Service: Haircut

Scott is an amazing human with a gift for understanding hair on a very deep level. He clearly has expertise in the art of cutting, but also channels a particular warmth while working that made me and my hair feel very at ease. I’m so particular about my hair and also very low maintenance which is an awful combination. But Scott nailed exactly what I wanted on the first try. He really listened and is a joy to talk to and learn from. He taught me more about natural hair care in an hour and a half than I learned in a lifetime, AND gave me a incredible chin length cut that still looked great after being in a ponytail and under a hat all day.
