Our family used Emmick after a recent loss of a loved one and we could not have made a better choice. Unlike the bigger corporate funeral homes that try to up sell on everything, there were no such antics from Emmick. Desiree and Michael were caring, compassionate and supportive. Don't look to any other funeral home than Emmick. They are a small family home company and they need to be supported. I highly recommend Emmick Family Funeral Home. They are compassionate and ethical. I first contacted them in February 2024 when my mother-in-law was terribly ill and entered home hospice care. I contacted them and another West Seattle mortuary about prices for cremation and the process for establishing a relationship with them. The other mortuary, like others with whom I have had experience, would not tell me information over the phone and insisted that I come in person. It was predatory and I told them that as a psychologist, they were hurting grieving people and taking time away from spending last moments with loved ones.They still did follow up solicitation for a few... read full review
