When my husband and I made the spontaneous decision to sell our Seattle home to be closer to family in California, Kristin and Joyce were at our doorstep within 24 hours of our phone call. We had chosen them based on their monthly newsletters they distributed in the Greenlake neighborhood. They were professionals and presented to us a thorough comparative market analysis of our neighborhood and gave us a realistic timeline of what to expect from the moment we chose to list on the market to the moment we closed. Kristin made the process of preparing our home for sale straightforward with a list of recommended vendors which we appreciated, given our busy lives with our one year old twins. Kristin and Joyce were understanding and accommodating of our limited schedule for meeting given the babies’ naps and my husband’s work schedule and were available to communicate at any time—even over the Labor Day holiday. They understood our neighborhood’s real estate market and gave us prudent advice on choosing our list price to encourage a bidding war and that it did. I believe it was an advantage to go with a reputable firm as Windermere. There were nine competitive offers on our house and it ultimately sold for $76,000 over list price in just 7 days on the market! It was always a pleasant and relaxed experience when meeting with Kristin and Joyce and never did we feel any pressure to do anything we didn’t feel comfortable doing. They were always so sweet to our twin girls—even buying them a birthday gift!—but when it came down to business, they pack a mean punch and were able to produce results for us beyond what we expected.
