I can’t recommend Claire enough! I was in a pinch with a wedding just two weeks away — my bridesmaid dress was too tight in the bust, and another tailor had not only failed to fix it but added a completely different fabric. I brought it to Claire, and she worked absolute magic. She was fast, professional, and made the dress look and feel like new. Her attention to detail and quick turnaround saved the day. I’m so grateful I found her!
I brought a formal gown to Clara’s that needed serious last minute repairs from a previous alteration: visible external stitching, mismatched thread, unfinished (and glued??) seams, and a fit so tight I could barely zip it. My event was just a few days away, and several other alteration shops had already turned me away due to the timeline or the condition of the dress.
She took the time to assess it properly. She had me try it on, gave clear feedback on what could be done, and quoted a very reasonable price. She said she could finish it in three business days, which she did.
