My waxing experience at Bush and Ivy was phenomenal! It was my first time being waxed and I was expecting pain and awkwardness but I can say now that neither of those fears came true! Christa easily kept up with my chit chat that I needed to stay distracted through the process, and I never felt awkward or uncomfortable while she was working. The experience was incredibly fast too, but skillfully detailed and thorough. Today, the day after my wax - I feel no discomfort whatsoever. If you have sensitive skin, let Christa know and she will prep your skin to help ease any irritation. Definitely will return in the future for more service. Best Brazilian Ever!!! So I've gone to every waxing /sugaring place in Ballard and Bush & Ivy is hands down the very best. Went here based on the recommendation of a good friend and boy did she do me a solid. I had a bad experience with another salon in Ballard so it had been a while and I was a little gun shy. From the moment I walked in Christina went out of her way to make sure I felt comfortable. Like many people I'm insecure about all sorts of things about my body and Bush & Ivy is truly a judgement free zone. Her space is beautifully decorated and tranquil and I'm not sure what wax she uses but it was the gentlest Brazilian I've ever had. My wax was quick and impeccably done. I booked 2 more sessions on the spot. Very highly recommended by a insecure chubby snob of a girl.

Cute & chic office space in the header of Ballard! Quiet and full of light, plants, and amazing candles. Jess did a great job at my first bikini wax in a long time. I was pretty nervous but was surprised how much different the soft wax was than hard wax that I've had used before. Jess was quick, efficient and lovely to get to know. I'll definitely be back!
