About Banya 5

Banya 5 is an upscale and professional spa that offers a rejuvenating experience. The sauna, staffing, and amenities, including a small hot pool, steam sauna with eucalyptus, dry sauna, cold shower/plunge, and a tepid salinated tub, are praised by visitors. The spa also features an area with hot tea, lemon water, and self-care tools. Many guests highlight the cold plunge as a standout feature that sets it apart from other spas in the area. While some guests find the prices a bit high, they agree that it is the cleanest and most well-maintained spa in Seattle. The atmosphere is described as peaceful, with limited guest capacity, allowing for a private experience. The dim lighting in the sauna creates a relaxing ambiance that transports visitors to another place. Overall, Banya 5 is highly recommended for those seeking a little escape from Seattle while being directly in downtown Seattle.

There are beautiful plants that glow green in the sunshine that streams through the windows, and it really feels like a paradise here. Zero issues with cleanliness, and the attendants are checking the chemical/salt levels of all pools fastidiously on the hour or...read full review

Just got a scrub and massage from Gerard and its one of the best massage experiences I've ever had. Super attentive and explained what he was doing very clearly. My neck has never felt better. 10/10 will be back again.

Such a great gem right in the center of the city! The facilities are great and always clean. There's a variety of hydrotherapy options, and I love that they put fresh eucalyptus in the steam room. There's also freshly brewed tea and ice water available. The only thing that could be improved is the noise level as it can sometimes be quite noisy. Maybe they could introduce some quiet sessions.
