In 2021, I was quoted between $5-$7k to prepare my quarterly estimated taxes and my 2022 return. As of this writing, I've been billed over $30k, more than 5x what I was quoted. I'm a W2 worker with very standard tax considerations. While there were additional billable hours consulting with Andersen, they don't account for this discrepancy. When politely inquiring why this quote was so off, I was promptly fired as a client. While I believe the services rendered are accurate, the lack of transparency and communication around billing make this a firm I can't recommend doing business with.

A tax only accounting firm that helps individuals and companies with their taxes. They really care about doing the right thing and guiding you to the best solution and will take the time to help with good referrals even when what you need is a expert in another field. If you need an accountant or tax lawyer they are good people and competent.
