First - this a small operation. Anyone expecting the usual corporate business treatment should move on. I mean this as a positive. Paul, the operator of this private business has been repairing appliances for over 40 years and it shows. Second - any other business will charge you just to come out. Usually around $130. They won't charge you ANYTHING unless they can fix it and the pricing is transparent and very reasonable. Additionally, they'll go as far as to explain what they are doing if you show an interest. Dryer had chewed up drum rollers. I called everywhere ,no one had parts in stock but could order them and availability was several days later. Found Affordable and owner Paul, spoke w him and he had all the parts I needed. I drove to his establishment and am very glad and grateful I did so.He is very knowledgeable and friendly.A bright spot in today's world.Kudos and a very big thankyou to Paul from my family!
Despite the negative reviews I decided to give him a call. Didn’t answer right away but his wife called back within the hour and I’m so glad she did. Our oven went out - only a few weeks before thanksgiving and hosting our family holiday party.He came very quickly, found the issue with our oven almost immediately, had parts on hand, and charged me less in total what the larger company was charging for diagnostic alone.He is very much an old school small town service style so if you don’t understand what that means or can’t handle, then just go to the large company.So appreciative of his service.
