My dog Frederick is not a pet, he's a working dog. Needless to say he has lots of energy, and very little manners. His life revolves around his nose, as it should. Big Valley is unique in that it separates dogs into several different play yards, based on breed, age, temperament, and activity needs. Each yard has a professional Pack Leader that stays with the dogs at all times. Frederick can hardly contain his excitement when he figures out that we're heading toward Big Valley. They do a good job with our little Nena ( female pom) ,she can be a handful but they take good care of her otherwise we wouldn't drive all the way from Sequim to have her groomed.
My 2 dogs were boarded before the holidays and while it is a bit of a process, it is 100% worth it!! Our boys are senior dogs and we haven’t had to board them in over 9 years, so there was a lot of worry and concern on our part. The staff at BVPR were all awesome, very patient and understanding of our needs and concerns, especially with senior dogs. They sent photos whenever we asked, and even took the time to put sweaters/jackets on them for outside play, and took them off again when they were back inside!! Talk about spoiled! Such a wonderful staff, 100% recommend!!
