The absolute worst business reception ever received. If you don't have slots available, smile and say that you don't have any slots available currently and wish us nice day. My partner just came home in tears because of how she was treated when she walked in to ask the question. Without knowing her situation, she was immediately labeled and called an outsider. Comments were made about how we could even be here to ask for openings if there is no housing (we have a home and have been here for some time). Before, when I lived in Port Townsend, I only had my hair professionally coifed twice. I recommend a consultation with Lisa for your hair care needs. Lisa was able to talk me off the ledge about chopping all my hair off one afternoon post break up. She suggested a bright and cheery new to me hair color. I wore my hair in that same color for a few afternoons. I changed the hair color back after a few days because of some of the nastier comments I was getting from the locals who are senior citizens. I recommend taking a look at a few fashion magazines or bring a picture of the hairstyle(s) you are considering. Lisa had a problem with scheduling one afternoon... so I called to confirm my appointment at a different time. I thought it was because of her kid... it wasn't apparently Carl had gotten into something he shouldn't have... again. I wonder how Carl is doing now. Also,... Lisa will wash your hair and maybe give you a gloss treatment if you need one. I asked about special hairstyles for functions and parties while I was there so you'll know before you go. Lisa can do a few special hairstyles.... just request one a few hours before you need it done. I recommend making your appointment for before 4:30 PM as there are more appointments available earlier in the day or afternoon. I like the way the salon was set up before about 2000. I'm not sure what it looks like inside now though. I have recommended Lisa's skill set to many of my former friends who wanted a quick fix for their haircutting woes (or problems). Lisa is like a magician when it is with straight hairstyles. I've watched some of her clients leave happy for a few years (before I left Port Townsend, Washington).

I first called this place just as businesses were starting to open up be kind of a year after the pandemic had started. It has been over a year and a half and I really needed a haircut but I was tired of going to these places that said great things about delivered nothing. So after hearing how great this place was and The stylist listen to you and they were the best in town and had great reviews I wanted to give this place a try. I called the business and the main phone number wasn't working. So I called the two cell phone numbers listed. It took 4 or 5 days and no one ever got back to me. I was persistent and kept calling.
