The Port Townsend School of Massage provides an experience that is much more than just an education, described as transformative and life-changing. The program is noted for its unique and comprehensive curriculum, which covers a broad range from anatomical to energy work, offering wide and varied subject matter. This education improves perspective on the human body, both spiritually and physiologically. Students highlight the gifted, knowledgeable, and passionate instructors who provide exceptional support every step of the way, even after graduation. The school fosters a strong sense of community and lifelong connections. The experience is simultaneously nurturing and challenging, with small class sizes and lots of hands-on experience that prepares graduates with more than they need to succeed and thrive in a successful practice. Many credit the school for helping them become healers and transform their lives.
As a graduate of the 2013 day program I cannot recommend this school and its program (and incredible CE classes too!) highly enough. I specifically chose PTSM for their unique curriculum which covers so much more than massage, in addition to their gifted and knowledgeable instructors who will ensure that you leave with the skills and perspectives you need to succeed and truly thrive. I continue to practice today as massage (and prospective student, you!) is needed more than ever and I credit my education for helping me to navigate the pandemic. This is an experience not just an education. It will change your life. It has helped to grow in so many ways, the substance of the subject matter is wide and varies from anatomical to energy. This information improves your perspective on the human body, spiritually and physiologically. And you will leave with life long connections with some amazing people and new friends.
Being a student at Port Townsend School of Massage was simultaneously one of the most nurturing yet challenging experiences of my adult life. School was intense... our class really bonded - several of us continue to consult w/ each other, learn & practice new techniques together. I feel privileged to have been a student there!!
