I have had shoulder pain for over 10 years, stemming from minor injuries which led to the build up of scar tissue and eventually arthroscopic surgery on both shoulders. I had tried several different approaches to managing the pain and range of motion. Upon retirement, moving to Port Townsend from the east coast, and having the time to focus, I decided to try acupuncture and made an appointment with Loran. Loran is exceptionally professional. We reached out to Loran at a moment of great need, debilitating pain and crushing grief. Why do we wait until a crisis? Each time, her understanding and gentle, compassionate application of her work, provided instant relief. I was gobsmacked!My partners dementia was often a difficult situation to be around. She gracefully put him at ease during his visits. He loved working with her.An injury of mine, so impaired me, I was loading up with pain meds, just to barely function. One treatment, and no pain!And then my overpowering broken heart, I asked if she could help. Shockingly, she did help. So grateful!Loran is a true healer.
