Maybe people have trouble with the list system? I personally think it's great. I wrote my name on the list (one person was in front of me). I realized she's cash/check only, so I ran up the street to the bank. Came back, my name was crossed off and the next person was taken WHICH IS TOTALLY FAIR. I added my name back on the list and got the quickest (maybe 6 minutes??), sharpest haircut I've had in a while.

Ignore the bad reviews, go prepared with cash, and follow the rules - you won't regret it!

Edit: stop calling her in the middle of my haircut LOL - she doesn't take appointments. Show up during her open hours posted on Google and add your name to the list. It's a private space.“
