About Okanogan Laundry
Okanogan Laundry is a well-regarded laundromat that offers a pleasant and efficient experience for its customers. The facility is described as clean, bright, and with ample seating and counter space for sorting and folding clothes. The owners have made various improvements to the laundromat, which customers have appreciated. While the laundromat receives generally positive reviews, there are a few areas for improvement. Some customers have noted that the washing machines can struggle to adequately spin out water, leaving clothes damp, and that the two-load machines perform better when used for about 1.5 loads. Additionally, the pricing for the dryers, while affordable at $0.25 for 4 minutes, is considered higher than at other local laundromats. Despite these minor issues, the laundromat is praised for its cleanliness, fair pricing, and the kindness and patience of the staff, particularly when accommodating customers who need to stay past closing time. Overall, Okanogan Laundry is described as a pleasant and convenient place to do laundry, with the potential for further improvements to enhance the customer experience.
It is wonderful place for a task we don't really want to do. Steve does a great job. It is clean, and it is bright inside. Books table's plenty of chairs to sit and relax. The most pleasant laundry mat I have ever been in.
I've been to countless laundromats across the U.S., and Okanogan Laundry gets a 2.5 out of 5 from me.

My mom passed away and I had a major back surgery where 1/2 of my spine was cut out from mid back all the way down so I had a lot of laundry. It took me, with help, 10 minutes or so past closing and the man that closes up and locks the doors was so kind and patient. I am still grateful and should have posted a review before now.. I only rate it 4/5 because some machines don't work, some of the ones that work eat your money or the coins get stuck easier than they should, and also because of how the place is not cleaned properly, or at all for some things. The trash is removed, floor swept hastily, and if something is spilled, it gets moped but the machines don't get cleaned or wiped down, the change machine doesn't get cleaned, the detergent vending machine isn't cleaned, and the folding tables and carts are not cleaned at all either. Very minimal is done for cleaning. Also, the prices are less at the other place I found and the dryers dry so slow here on top of them costing more per minute to dry. Honestly, I rated so high because they are kind and treated me with decency not knowing what I was going through instead of showing irritation I wasn't out of the building when operational hours were over... if it weren't for that, I'd vote much lower because it's so dirty, higher cost and machines are less efficient and are faster at the place that is cheaper... these things could easily be fixed to better protect and serve patrons. I'm immune compromised so I cannot use this facility, though it's right near where I live. Hoping to see these minor, yet ultimately important things to be done as they should be, in all honesty. I try not to judge because I don't know what THEY are going through!
