We needed APS to locate where our main line pipe entered the house. The tech was unable to locate anything, but still charged us $90. We had to dig for three days to find where the main line entered the house. The line coming out of the house was copper and was extending beyond the foundation at least 18 inches. I thought metal could be detected. They said they could detect metal. What they did not say was that they cannot detect anything if the pipe running from the copper entry point to the water meter is plastic. Wasted $135 for location service that was supposed to locate the valve to our sprinkler system. The location marked by Nathan Parish was not correct at all. Our plumber dug the area marked and there was no valve at all. Not sure if this Nathan guy knew what he was doing.
