“BEST animal clinic in the PNW. They treat your pet like family and do everything to make them comfortable. My dog was terrified of everything when I got him; he was a rescue and needed patience and calm. They are a certified “fear free” clinic, which means they handle your pet with patience and go their speed. On his first visit, he shook and cowered. The vet Lisa and her wonderful staff, did not manhandle him, but instead waited, sat on the floor and talked to him. Fast forward to five years later. My dog almost crawls out the window with excitement when he realizes we are pulling into the clinic, because he is cannot wait to see his friends! It is one of his favorite places. Being a certified fear free clinic puts NBAC above the rest and they practice it. It is not just a sticker they put on their name tags, it is a process that they learn and go through training to receive the certification.
I also had a beautiful kitty that was my heart. She was also very fractious and quite terrifying to anyone that tried to do anything to her, except me. Instead of forcing her and making it a stressful situation, she was allowed to walk around the room and get familiar with where she was. She still “beat them up” but it was never like her visits to previous vets, where she had been forced and rushed. When she was 15 she was diagnosed with cancer. We did everything to save her. After her surgery, she was given 8 months to live and I was devastated. During this time, I was in often to get medication. They were so kind to me. She surpassed the 8 months, but the dreadful day came and they shed tears of compassion with me.
