The staff are compassionate. My dog was triaged and I was told a doctor could see me within an hour or two. I was told I could stay there and wait or they would call me when it was close to time. An hour later the doctor saw me. My dog had a tumor, most likely cancer but more tests would be necessary to determine exactly. He was thoughtful and thorough. He compassionately shared diagnostic and treatment options and end-of-life options for my 15 year old dog. He gave good information and support and said it was, of course, up to me. My sweet Josie was admitted for severe dehydration and a mystery illness. She spent three days there while they stabilized her and ran tests to diagnose her. The entire time we were there, PEC treated us with such care and sensitivity. They were able to get her well enough for her to spend her next three days comfortable at home. What turned into the worst week of my life, was made a little easier by their professionalism and compassion. I feel safer knowing this is a place I can trust and count on during future emergencies.
