“I was traveling through the area (I'm not a local resident or regular patient) when I developed severe tooth pain. At first, I thought Advil would be enough, but the pain quickly became so intense that even ibuprofen was no longer helping.
I called the office around lunchtime and spoke with Jade, who was incredibly kind, compassionate, and understanding. Even though they had a full schedule, they were able to fit me in that same day as the last patient.
Dr. Kim was wonderful. She quickly diagnosed an infected tooth that will ultimately require a root canal. Since I was just passing through and couldn't have the procedure done here, she focused on getting the infection and pain under control. She prescribed antibiotics and pain medication, and she also carefully adjusted the bite by removing some of the excess height from the affected tooth so it would no longer make unnecessary contact with the opposing tooth. That adjustment alone made a noticeable difference, and together with the medication, I was finally able to get some relief.
I can't thank Dr. Kim and her team enough for their kindness, professionalism, and willingness to help someone who wasn't even an established patient. They got me through an incredibly painful situation and stabilized everything so I could continue my trip and receive definitive treatment once I reached my destination.
