So I’ve had exactly ONE pedicure since the beginning of the pandemic, and it was awful. About 3-4 months ago I went to place on 4th and was extremely unhappy with my pedicure and polish. She went at an angle and didn’t get near the cuticles, so when it started to grow out, (and it only took a few days to show because of how she painted it, my toe nails don’t grow that fast!) it looked awful! I had almost given up on ever having a great, even good pedicure since I moved away from my regular place over a decade ago. Yes, it’s been over 10 years since I had a great pedi! Sad, I know. Then I found May, she is awesome and does such a wonderful job! I got my pedicure done about a month ago, and it still looks like I got it done yesterday! Also, my feet haven’t been THAT SOFT SINCE I WAS A BABY! And they are still pretty soft and smooth after several weeks! My partner got me an appt for the pedi as a surprise and gave me the option to do something with my hands as well if I wanted. Well, I haven’t had gels ever (dabbled with acrylics two decades ago) and wanted to give it a go. I work with my hands and am very hard on them daily, I use my nails as tools and use a plethora of different cleaners and acidic solutions many, many times throughout the day, so I figured they wouldn’t last 3 days tops. I was wrong, not only did they last, they looked great for a long time! If I hadn’t gotten Covid and was able to go in, they would have stayed flawless in between fills, I was floored! So happy I decided to go to her, I just searched for who had the best reviews. (I don’t know what’s up with that one 4 star review ruining her perfect score so far, even with a picture of red nails, they are gorgeous and she even said she loved them, so why only the 4 stars Red?) lol! Anyway, my second time going to her: I often work late because I don’t leave until the jobs are finished. I cater to my clients to get the job done right, and that’s another reason I really like this place, she is the same way. I called ahead and she agreed to get me in late one night because I wouldn’t be able to come back for several days because of work, and I needed to have them done, been planning out my colors for days and days. As usual, she did a great job and they look beautiful! I don’t even want to write this because I don’t want her to not be able to get me in if she gets super busy, but I definitely want that for her and she deserves the praise and the business. So don’t even think, just go here. You will be happy! Did I mention she offers juice, soda, tea, and ginger ale while you get pampered? Best. Nails. Ever.
