I usually do not do reviews but I wanted to for our real-estate agent, Travis DeFries. Travis was a huge help in navigating the purchase of our new home. We were in a difficult situation because we were looking for a home in one of the most competitive markets in the area – Bellevue; where investors were pricing us out of the market by paying cash. Travis keep a positive attitude and consistently told us, we’ll find you a new home in Bellevue, and do not give up. After over a year of making several offers and being priced out, we finally found a home which we just closed on. Travis is so consistent and knowledgeable, he does his homework and would send us updates regularly with available homes and stats about the current market value. What I know is that Travis is not looking to sell you a house, it was immediately clear that he wants to help you find your next home. Travis was incredibly flexible and accommodating in scheduling views, we were not the easiest clients; we were tough and he was consistently patient with our changing our minds about offers and always had extra information to provide; he consistently made good working relationships with the selling agent and was able to provide us with helpful information. Also, important to us was the fact that he put absolutely no pressure on us and provided information in an even-handed, non-judgmental manner, and was unfazed by several course-changes in what we were looking for. Bottom line – I can’t imagine having a more positive experience and recommend him without reservation to anyone looking to buy in this stressful and competitive market. He will be our go to guy for any other home search in the future.
