About Sleeping Lady Mountain Resort
Sleeping Lady Mountain Resort is a beautiful destination surrounded by mountains, offering a serene atmosphere. The resort features a lovely meadow where evening concerts are held, and the staff is known for being friendly and welcoming. The property is arranged with groups of cabins around a central courtyard, providing a cozy and comfortable stay. The rooms are simple yet elegant, with some offering lofts that can be a bit challenging to access. Guests appreciate the comfortable beds and modern touches in the rooms. The resort has a lovely organic garden, and while the Pantry does not reflect the use of the garden's produce, the garden itself is a lovely feature. Located about 10 minutes from town, the resort offers a remote and peaceful feeling. Despite some maintenance lapses and staffing shortages, it remains a great option for those seeking quiet and a break from electronics. The amenities include a great pool, hot tub, and a game room, although not everything is currently up and running. The resort's restaurant has received high praise, with Chef Micah serving incredible dishes made with fresh and locally sourced ingredients. The staff is top-notch, with everyone providing polite and helpful service. The location is beautiful, with forested grounds, varied landscapes, and opportunities to spot wildlife. Guests find the views and ambiance amazing, making it a recommended choice for families and groups wanting some space to relax and enjoy. Overall, Sleeping Lady Mountain Resort is a great choice for those looking for a peaceful and rejuvenating experience. Recent reviews highlight that the resort is more like a glamping experience than a traditional hotel, but still a fantastic place to stay. The grounds are beautiful, quiet, dark, and peaceful, with the sounds of frogs and a fountain outside the rooms creating a magical atmosphere. The cabins are very clean and cozy, and guests appreciate the friendly service and comfortable beds, along with towel warmers that add a special touch. The location is convenient, only about seven minutes from downtown Leavenworth, with easy parking. While the rooms and grounds received praise, some visitors had mixed experiences at the Kingfisher restaurant. The food was reasonably priced for the quality, with a great salmon and good service. However, the menu with the "served family style" was a bit confusing, and the french onion soup had too much pepper. Meals sometimes took a long time to arrive, and some guests felt the options were limited and pricey. One visitor did not recommend the restaurant, suggesting it’s better to dine in Leavenworth itself. Overall, the resort remains a wonderful place to stay, especially for those seeking peace and natural beauty.
Came here as a stop over on our way to eastern Washington. We enjoyed the hot tub and pool despite it being cool and overcast. The room was perfect. Our toddler enjoyed a nature walk and cookies upon arrival.
This is truly one of the most beautiful places you can stay in Washington state. We go here every year for a work conference and it is something we all look forward to so much. The people are just wonderful, the rooms are beautiful, with comfortable beds and modern touches. There's so much to walk around and see and they have really amazing artwork tucked all around the property. They have a nice pool ,hot tub, bar, and the restaurant area /view cannot be beat. Don't even hesitate if you're thinking of going here, book it now!
Quiet, spacious resort 10 minutes or so from town. Lots of amenities (great pool/hot tub, game room), though not everything up and running currently. Amazing views and ambiance. Recommended for families and groups wanting some space to do their own thing when not in town.
