While Paul did a good job sometimes, and generally seems like a nice guy, we had major issues with communication, timeliness, many mistakes and in some cases a rude coworker.

Regarding communication -- I felt that most of the time he ignored my calls, texts and emails and only responded days or weeks later.

Many of the designs he produced had significant errors in calculations or code compliance, and producing corrections took several weeks, which delayed our permit. RR Designs is a wonderful company to work with. Paul and his team are dedicated individuals that are kind and professional. I look forward to working with them again and referring out to my network.

While Paul initially seemed to be a good fit for our project, there were a few serious issues to popped up. During the project, we had some difficulty getting him to respond to us in a timely manner, although his office assistant was great, so extra star for her! The big issue came up with communications. We had him work doing drawings of a building that needed to fit certain qualifications. We let him know about the qualifications from the get go, but he never passed this information along to the engineer, and we ended up paying for engineer plans that were not up to spec.
