I had a facial appointment at the totem lake location. Front desk staff were friendly and nice. The place is very clean and has a very nice ambience...but the three star rating is for the pricing and what you get for your money...this place is so overpriced even compared to the other upscale, reputable salons/spas in the area....I honestly don't feel that the experience i had today was worth $185 for an hour long facial. Sometimes good, sometimes bad depending on massage therapist you get and how crowded the hydrotherapy is. Hard to get consistent positive experience.
I went to Yuan Spa in Totem Lake today and honestly had such a great experience. I went for the 1 hour hydrotherapy. This was my first time here and the staff was super friendly and walked me through everything so I never felt lost. The whole place is really thoughtful — they had lemongrass towels that smelled amazing, water available everywhere, and a nice relaxation room with snacks and really good hot tea.
My locker even had my name on it, and inside was a big towel, robe, and waterproof slippers, which I thought was a nice touch. The showers were great too, and they had this eucalyptus mist spray that smelled so refreshing I ended up buying one to take home.
