I've getting my hair cut here even before Jeff owned the shop. Consistent, friendly and competitively priced, great conversation and not to mention it's on the Kirkland waterfront! Jeff is a great guy, perfect haircut every time!
I moved to Kirkland about 5 years ago and immediately missed my barber. I tried to commute an hour to my old barber but driving in this area is torturous. I wanted a competent local barber who communicated well. A comfortable environment would be icing for me. I went to a few different shops around the area and could not find a good match. Eventually, I came across TOC via Google Maps and scheduled the "first available" barber at my convenience. I got to the shop and Jeff was my barber. It's been about 4 years since then and I could not be happier. Jeff is an excellent barber, reliable, reasonable, and is easy to communicate with. If I don't like any part of a cut, I say something and it gets fixed. No sweat from Jeff and no sweat from me. It is our responsibility as the customer to get the product we want. TOC is a great barbershop and an important part of our marina community. Do yourself a favor and schedule a cut at TOC. You won't regret it. P.S. Ignore the hateful people who give 1 star reviews because they are petty individuals. Anytime you see a 1 star review longer than a few sentences, check that person's review history. I bet they constantly complain. I would even say it is more likely that they are unsatisfied in life and it has nothing to do with the business. Hateful people that only give 1 star reviews are not helping customers make better choices - they are just filling their own narcissism.
I've been coming to see Jeff for 2 years and refuse to get a haircut or beard trim anywhere else, going as far as to drive in rush hour to come to Kirkland. Jeff is unbelievably personable and always provides a great haircut. The atmosphere is top notch and Jeff has a great ability to adapt to the client; either chatting with them about whatever topic pops up, or letting them get a cut in silence (if that's what they prefer). Couldn't recommend Touch of Class more!
