I had been going over to Seattle for many years, but I live on the East Side and REALLY needed to find someone closer to home. I also really prefer to go to people who care about eco friendly, non toxic product and all that sort of thing. There may be lots of them out there, but I have had an impossible time finding them by searching online. I finally decided I HAD to get a haircut (it had been nearing a year since my last one. I have had my hair done by Mel on many occasions over the years. As a man, I notice such an incredible difference with her when I get my haircut versus a box store salon. I find her prices to be very reasonable, especially for the quality of haircut you get. She also has a very nice salon in great location in Kirkland. This most recent haircut I got from her was incredible. I have had so many compliments! thanks Mel!

Melissa was very pleasant to work with. I gave her some vague instructions about what I like and what I don't like and the length I was shooting for and she gave me a fabulously cute haircut that has been both versatile and easy to manage... and she was even able to squeeze me in on short notice so I could get it done before my vacation.
