I wanted to thank all the staff at Lakeside Milam in Kirkland for all their support in my recovery this past year. They were helpful, supportive, caring and most importantly believed in me. I've looked at some of the reviews and I can only speak for myself and my experience. I needed guidance but it's up to me to do the work one day at a time :-)
No words can express the gratitude I have for Miliam and especially Kim W. I was an angry wife of an addict and didn’t think there was much hope. Hope and happiness has been stored in my life with the help of Kim and everyone at Miliam. My husband is a changed man because of his hard work and Miliam. Going to family group has given me education that was necessary for me to separate my husband from his disease. It also gave me a place to be with people that understood what I was going through. I am so thankful for all that Miliam has done for both of us.
My experience with Lakeside Milam has been absolutely wonderful! It has changed my life and my relationships beyond anything I've ever imagined. I was down and out and they gave me the tools to put my life back together! It's been a lot of hard work and sometimes uncomfortable. The miracles and spiritual awakening of that hard work has made it so worth it! Kim W. was my first councilor. She firmly and lovingly helped me open up to a lifetime of sobriety and recovery. For that I am eternally greatful! I would refer them to anyone who needs help with addiction!
