About Eastside Maytag Laundry
Eastside Maytag Laundry is a popular laundromat with a large selection of machines, including new washers that accept both coin and credit card payments. The facility is spotlessly clean and well-organized, offering plenty of space for folding laundry and comfortable seating. Customers appreciate the friendly staff, especially Nicole, who provides excellent service and thoughtful touches like tennis balls for quicker drying. The machines are high-quality Electrolux and Maytag, and the credit/debit card payment option adds convenience—some machines also accept coins, with a reliable change machine available. The laundromat offers both fully self-service and reasonably priced full-service options. There is ample parking, including handicapped and wheelchair-accessible spaces. Nearby cafes, shops, and markets make it easy to grab a snack or run errands. The owners are helpful and attentive, making the experience pleasant. The laundromat is a great choice on the Eastside, especially for those looking for "single load washers," as this is rare in the area. Customers recommend paying attention to the Google "busyness" meter under "Popular Times" to find less busy times for laundry.
Our hotel didn’t have laundry service, so we made a stop here. The place was very clean and organized. The woman working that day greeted us and answered all our questions, such as how the machines work and how to pay. I believe they also offer a service to wash and fold your clothes for you, though I’m not sure of the price.
My king size down quilt needed washing and drying. The washer and dryers are nice and do a good job. The attendant was friendly and very helpful, they even gave me tennis balls for the dryer so the quilt dries quicker . You can pay by card or quarters .
This is my go to laundromat. It is probably more of 4.5/5
Pros:
Great prices
Welcoming staff
Laundry essentials for sale
Clean and functional machines
Cons:
No remote work area
Can get crowded
Not the most welcoming bathroom
I typically run over to the Safeway and do my grocery shopping or other errands while waiting on the cloths.
