I am 61 years old and have never had a tattoo. Recently I lost a granddaughter to congenital CMV. Our hearts were broken and one thing I could do in her memory is get my first tattoo to remember and remind me of her every day. I told Clayton my story and showed him how I wanted to remember her. Her birth flower is a poppy (August) and I wanted forget me nots around the flower. I also wanted it on my left wrist where I would have held her. He did an amazing job. I’ve been coming to The Roost monthly for the past two years. I have nothing but positive things to say. The professionalism, cleanliness and work ethic is nothing like I’ve ever experienced with a tattoo studio before. It can be intimidating or scary walking in to get a tattoo. The comfortability and reassurance is phenomenal. You can tell they truly care you’re thrilled with your new piece of art.
