Haircuts are incredibly difficult for our seven-year-old who is on the spectrum and it's just as difficult to find a stylist who is willing to work with him. His anxiety and sensory aversions make the hair cut a challenge for all. Enter Nina! We'd seen her name referenced in other reviews from families with neurodivergent kiddos so we asked for her specifically and I was so impressed. She listened to every detail I shared with her about what works well for him, let me move a chair to sit close to him, communicated with him clearly at all times, and was able to give him space to breathe and relax when needed. He also came home with the best haircut he's had in over a year thanks to her patience and skill. The best news is that after we got home our kiddo said he ONLY wants to see Nina next time he needs a haircut. Thank you, Nina!“

“I dont really give reviews but in this case I gotta give respect where its due. He is basically John wick with clippers and and scissors. Full beard trim and a fade in no more than 20 min. Also being new there I could tell he has many longtime repeat customers and I see why. Give him a try of your looking for a new barber. Only negative thing is now I have to go to edmonds for a haircut and I live in lake Steven's“
