Pauline's Nail Spa, located in Des Moines on Marine View Dr, is a business that provides a wide range of services. The spa has a peaceful and welcoming atmosphere, with staff who are kind and skilled at their work. The location is conveniently situated in a touristy area yet remains quiet.
Upon entering, customers are greeted and offered drinks and candies in the waiting area. The spa has a lovely ambience and a calm environment, even though it was very busy. The separate rooms for each service create a private and present experience for customers. During a mani-pedi, customers can relax in massage chairs with prepared foot spas, complete with oils and lemon slices. The staff are gentle and precise while performing services. Hand and foot massages and foot masks are provided before lotion is applied.
Hygiene is a priority at Pauline's Nail Spa, with new packages of tools opened for each customer. The tubs used for pedicures also have linings to keep them clean. A unique feature of the spa is that customers can continue to rest in the massage chairs while receiving manicures, rather than being moved to a different area.

Pauline and her staff do an amazing job and provide fantastic Silk Nails that keep your nails healthy underneath. Pauline's Nail Spa offers a peaceful and high-quality experience for those in need of a quiet spa day. The complimentary tea and wafer cookies, along with the special soak, make for a wonderful pedicure experience. The quality of the polishing is flawless.
My go-to place to get my nails done! They go above and beyond to make you feel relaxed (ie. complimentary tea and biscuits). I almost fell asleep with the foot massage and lovely scents that came with the pedicure. The gel polish lasts a long time too! Highly recommend!
Pauline is AMAZING as usual! ALL of her staff are great and she has a lovely, professional salon that does FANTASTIC Silk 💅 Nails! They keep your nails healthy underneath. I highly recommend coming here for any of their services. I have been coming here for pedicures and silk nails for years!
My first time at Pauline’s and definitely won’t be the last! Lovely ambience, amenities, and care. Very calm environment even though it was very busy. It did not feel like any nail salon I’ve ever been to - no long line and crowded door of folks trying to get a chair, but small rooms and privacy. It’s a whole vibe in there!
