I’m so confused by the 1 star reviews - I’ve been here more than 20 times and have never seen anything but professionalism and awesome service for each customer at the salon.

I actually came here to cut my hair short for the first time in my life and kept coming back for my trims a couple times a month. Excellent service and very kind, friendly staff. I love this place and plan to continue coming here.
I can't say enough good things about this small woman owned business. They are gracious, talented and very reasonable. In fact, I challenge you to find a more on trend, talented and creative salon for your tresses that is as reasonable for miles and miles around. Van is the real deal, with over a decade of experience and she is funny and charming as well. Don't take my word for it, call and schedule or walk in today for a whole new you!
This salon in Des Moines, Washington is a hidden gem. The owner Van, did hair for years in Federal Way before opening her own salon on Pacific Highway. Happy Hair has been quietly tucked in the neighborhood for years, where they slay at: you name it, balayage, highlights, and beautiful haircuts for men and women that would easily cost near $100 on up in Seattle. Her experience and exacting talent was shown to me immediately as I wear a bob, and she executes it perfectly. I get so many compliments on my balayage and cut understandably, and you would think it cost me $350-$500 for it to look this good, but that’s the thing….they are so reasonable!
