Carl and his crew are excellent craftsman, they are flexible and they do beautiful work. We love our beautiful fence!His competition must be writing reviews because he is a 5 star contractor.Custom cut full thickness Cedar lumber from a local mill is used . Their pricing is very fair including any desired extras that may occur. Carl does his best to stay with his quoted price and he does not "nickel and dime you".Carl's salesperson is "rough", however, setting that aside, Carl is excellent to work with.Uprite Fence received excellent references when I called them. Carl and his crew did an excellent job replacing our original wooden fence and repairing our neighbors two sections. The work included the fabrication of two large personnel gates and the removal of a large tree limb. Personnel walking by have commented that the fence is attractive. The custom square 2 inch x 2 inch x 3/8 inch lattice top is very attractive. We specified 2 x2 vs standard 2.5 x 2.5 inches for privacy and Carl custom fabricated it in his shop at no additional cost. Wood comes from a local Deming, WA area mill where it is custom milled. We have dealt with multiple Bellingham fence companies over the years building our farm, but Karl and his crew at Up-rite blew everyone else away. When other companies don't call you back (ever sometimes), Up-rite answers the phone and immediately responds to emails which is unheard of in this industry during the busy summer months. We also had hardest job for them-building a 300 foot privacy fence between us and a neighbor who demanded that we stop building in the middle of the project for another survey.
