today we took cat to get checked out. She had been losing so much weight. For years. So, today we called our Clarkston Veterinary Clinic. The vet Amy Cumberland-Wallace D.V.M. She was great. She listened to us. She agreed something wasn't right. She did a full checkup on her. Then drew blood to check her labs. 15 minutes later she came back with us and told us that her Thyroid was very high and that is why she is so much weight. She went over all the options. Told us which one she uses. Told how much each option cost. How much each different med was. Were happy. This vet is such a great person. The vet place is such a great place. The staff are always so friendly and helpful, especially when it's the small emergency appointments I need for my pet. When there have been issues that pop up, they get me in so quickly. I love the Clarkston Vet Clinic staff!
I adopted a kitten from Helping Hands Rescue and she needed veterinary help for the last 8 months. I simply cannot overstate how amazing the staff at this clinic is. Both doctors are women, the staff is mainly women (one man who's worked there 25+yrs) and so lovely. They explained each step of the process and held my hand through every complication that arose. They truly went above and beyond for my cat at every corner. I will recommend this vet clinic to everyone I come across.
