About Great Clips
Great Clips offers affordable haircuts for men, women, and kids, along with various hair care services like beard trims, bang trims, and shampooing. The salon is conveniently located and has flexible hours, including evenings and weekends, with no appointment necessary. Walk-ins are welcome, or customers can check-in online to skip the wait. While some customers have had negative experiences, many have reported friendly staff and consistent haircuts at a reasonable price. The quality may not be the same as a high-end salon, but for a simple cut on a budget, Great Clips is a reliable option.
My two year old son needed a trim & some cleaning up around the edges, nothing crazy. His dad took him, and I'm extremely disappointed with what they sent him home with. All kinds of uneven parts all the way around his head, random long hairs sticking out. I was not there to ask them to fix it, and at that point they probably would have made it worse. I had to fix it up myself, after paying them for it. We will not be returning. Yes my son does get uneasy when things come near his ears, but if you aren't able to work with children the service shouldn't be offered.
Great experience overall every time I have gotten a haircut. Checking in online ahead of time speeds things up quite a bit. The location is convenient too since it is right next to/attached to the Fred Meyer. Haircuts have been fairly consistent. Prices have gone up a bit since covid but still worth the price.
Always friendly staff from my experiences. Depending on the day, you may have to wait if you walk-in, so that's why I try to schedule online and show up right at the time of my appointment. You still may have to wait, but they try to get to you as fast as they can. Don't expect the quality of a $200 haircut like a salon in Seattle, but for my simple cut, it's always great when you're on a budget. Easy in and out location with multiple exits in case of traffic.
