I came to obtain a hair evaluation for the stylist Kim to determine if she could relax my hair. I live in Seattle and there are no specialist in Seattle apparently at Gene Juarez who can do black hair, which is unfortunate in itself. When I arrived on time, I was told Kim was 40 minutes behind and did I mind waiting. The answer was yes, as I am a busy working mom and I don't have all afternoon for someone to come talk to me about my hair and whether or not they can do it. I guess this is the new way of doing things, but it is a huge waste of time, in my humble opinion. Further if they knew they were going to be late, a curtesy call would be much appreciated. full review

My son and I went in for a facial for his birthday. We also got a eyebrow waxing. Not sure how many men use these services. I saw a few men but most were women. Vida gave me the facial and gave both my son and i an eyebrow waxing. Thomas had Kelly for the facial. It felt good to be pampered and get our face and skin much cleaner.

I just got my hair cut for the first time at Gene Juarez with Zoe, and I have to say I could not be more pleased. The atmosphere is very relaxing, Zoe was very attentive to my wants for my hair, and she did a great job. As a former stylist I can evaluate the experience on another level, and I am pleased to say I now have my new salon and stylist. Thank you Zoe for making my day!!
